Net Casino Sucker Bets — Part 2
[ English ]
Progressive side bets: Games such as Caribbean Stud Poker commonly contain one of these. You normally place a wager (a dollar is the normal amt.) to try to win a side jackpot that could be upwards of $25,000. Though huge jackpots like these are particularly tempting, they’re also particularly difficult to win. You would have to get a Royal Flush in order to succeed on this wager. Also, imagine this- you play twenty hands and lay the side bet each time. That is $20 you should have used towards the real game wager in place of a sucker wager. Picture what you could have been able to win at a bet with better odds utilizing that twenty dollars.
Single number wagers in Roulette: This is particularly true for American Roulette. The reason? American Roulette has two zeroes on the wheel, as opposed to European Roulette, which has only one. This takes the overall casino advantage from 2% with a single zero wheel to a whopping 5% in American. The one number wager has just a 1 in 38 chance of succeeding, which are very big odds indeed. Try even-odd or black-red bets instead which have a much lower house advantage.
Keno: Any variation of Keno, and anyway you gamble on it, the house edge can be a huge twenty-five percent. No, that isn’t a error. Due to the huge amount of numbers you must choose, it isn’t advisable to play Keno to often. A couple of times for entertainment, maybe. But don’t waste all your cash on it or you will quickly discover yourself bankrupt.
